I was fortunate enough to have had Corny as a life drawing instructor at CalArts just before he left because of his deteriorating health. I just found out he passed away this morning. One day in class, he walked up to me, stopping right in my view of the model and said "Don't stop drawing. If you stop drawing, I'll kill you." What I loved most about his class was that he never shoved a style in your face and told you to draw that way. He let you draw like you.
He will be missed. Thank you, Corny.
